How to unscramble a word
- Type the scrambled letters exactly as they appear, in any order.
- Press Search. The exact answers show at the top; if there's more than one, they're all real words.
- If the puzzle gives you a letter position, open Advanced options and set Starts with or Ends with.
When there's no exact match
Either a letter was mistyped, or the puzzle's answer isn't in our word list (names and very new words sometimes aren't). Check the letters first, then look at the longest group below the exact matches; the answer is often one letter off from what you typed.
