Our iPhone and Android apps are on the way. You don't have to wait for them: add the site to your home screen and it opens full screen, like an app, with the word finder, the daily puzzle hints and every game.

iPhone and iPad (Safari)

Open thewordfinder.io in Safari.
Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow).
Choose Add to Home Screen, then Add.

Android (Chrome)

Open thewordfinder.io in Chrome.
Tap the menu (three dots, top right).
Choose Add to Home screen or Install app, then confirm.

Yes. The site is free with no account, and the apps will be too.

We'll announce the launch on this page and on our social accounts as soon as there's a date.

What do I get by adding the site to my home screen?

An icon that opens The Word Finder full screen, without the browser bar, straight to the word finder. Your game streaks and stats stay where they are, because it is the same site.

Do I need to install anything to use the word finder?

No. Every tool and game works in any phone or computer browser.
