How the content is checked
Numbers in the posts come from the site's own data: the word list, the frequency ranking and the puzzle archives behind the games. When a post says how many words fit a pattern or how a Wordle opener performs, that figure was computed from those files, and the post says how. Claims about word origins and history link to their sources, and corrections are made in place with an updated date at the top of the post.
Daily puzzle hints are written for this site from each day's answers. They never reproduce The New York Times' own clue text.
